You Won’t Believe How Much Money You Can Save With DIY E-Liquid

Posted by Make My Vape 14/08/2015 7 Comment(s) Guides & How-to's,

I’m sure that most of you will have heard of DIY E-Liquid before. If not, you are in for a huge treat because the benefits and savings of picking up DIY E-Liquid as a hobby are well worth it. If you don’t believe me, then believe the numbers: a 10ml bottle of e-liquid will cost you as little as 28p if you DIY, so even if you are lucky enough to find a standard 10ml bottle for £2.99, you’ll still be spending ten times less by making it yourself.

It all adds up!

If you were to buy a 10ml bottle of e-liquid every two days (that's about as fast as I go through it) then you would be spending around the £100 mark monthly. That's a lot of money! Comparing that to mixology, you are looking at reducing that number to around £10 per month. Does that make it sound like a good idea? I know one thing that holds a lot of people back from mixology, which is the belief that it is difficult and confusing to get into. There are a lot of numbers to think about when mixing, but if numbers aren't your thing then that's cool; there are e-juice calculators online which will do all of the work for you and simply give you a recipe to follow. After doing this a few times, you'll be able to pick up exactly how the process works and you'll have no troubles with it whatsoever. You might also simply prefer the convenience of buying standard e-liquid. I do occasionally buy standard bottles if I don't feel like mixing one day, or if I want to try someone else's creation and maybe recreate it (we'll talk about this later). Yet, It only takes me around ten to fifteen minutes to make some juice before I leave it in the drawer to steep. Ten minutes to save ten times the money is something I would definitely recommend to anyone.

DIY e-liquid is not a chore!

So where's the fun in it? We have already seen the tremendous money that we can save, but we want to have fun too, right? Well, remember when I said about recreating other people's e-juice? This is called 'cloning' and it's one of the most talked about topics in the mixology community. Often times, people will collaborate and work on each others recipes to create their interpretation of the juice in question. It's great fun, and you can learn a lot about mixing by interacting with the other hobbyists. If you haven't considered saving money and making your own e-liquid before, then I hope this article has given you some inspiration. When it comes to mixology, the more the merrier! An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a friend who was conducting a little homework on this. And he in fact ordered me breakfast simply because I discovered it for him... lol. So allow me to reword this.... Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending some time to discuss this topic here on your web page.

I have been thinking about this for a while but sounded very daunting about 2 weeks ago I found this site and decided to take a drive to the Luton store after much reading. I was served by Ryan who answered all my questions and put me a medium kit together and even showed me how to use the calculator and made me a 10ml bottle of e juice whilst explaining everything along the way, told me how long to let it breath and steep, this was only last Saturday and said it would be ready on Tuesday, all I can say is the juice is awesome better than anything I have bought in the past which ranged from cheap to premium. Now I have the perfect benchmark and may adjust the VG / PG ratio to see what differences there are. Its just nice to be able to make juice that you have full control over and experiment with it.Many thanks.

It really is a no-brainer. Cost saving alone, you are able to tweak your mix to just the way you like it, and I have found the ejuice I mix seems much less 'chemically' than over the counter mixes. Maybe it's because I don't use anything but the flavour with no 'additives' to bulk it up, I don't know. Since I have been mixing my own I have been extolling the virtues of DIY to other friends who vape, and I know two now buy their DIY vape gubbins from Make My Vape.

Ordered a mixing kit last week and made my first batch, worked great. Easy to do, best juice I have had. Its all really exciting and now making lists of further concentrates I would like to experiment with. Told loads of my friends who are now all interested in making their own. Further if that wasn't enough, the site is great with loads of great info. The lady I spoke to to make my order was brilliant and really helpful. I am just so impressed and excited, Thank you so much. A very happy customer.
